Where your attention goes, your energy flows…
There was an Ancient Greek man who was mad at his neighbour for the meat he wasted.
There was a 1700s baker who gossiped about her friend.
There was…there was…there was…all gone – not even their whispers remain.
When we waste our precious time, emotions, thoughts and energy on toxic ideas, games and people we run the risk of losing the precious gift of time, which we could be attributing to our dreams and possibilities.
Will you waste your time on drudgery that one day will be mere vapour?
Action
When we have space, it is a gift. When we are conscious of how we fill our space, when we honour it and when we are fiercely aware, incredible things take place.
- Marinate your heart every single day in Scripture
- Base decisions on careful consideration and prayer
- Watch your words and thoughts. Are they sweet and pure like honey?
- Cleanse, clean and purify every last detail in your life that you have control over. Maybe it’s email notifications – the social invites and the “added” appointments or maybe you simply need to Not sell Everything always, but simply give stuff away! Whatever creates that time and space!
- Stripping away- stripping down to bare essentials metaphorically and physically is perhaps where the true peace lies – a void to fill with good – vast space to perhaps encourage thoughts and more answers to your bigger goals. Calendar space days – nothingness.
- Freeing your life of the noise: the tv, the social, the dates, the niceties. Ask yourself what time is left for deep observant thought when you fill it with constant noise? Where is your space and void to actually ponder and drill down? To stop and then DO?
- Space isn’t just there to fill with other things but to fill with things of focus and what you are working towards
- Space is there to breathe into also! To be at Peace in.
- Picture your mind having space to move, dance, stretch slowly and not feeling over crowded or claustrophobic. That’s a healthy mind home.
- Ignore the cheeky pixies dancing, taunting you in your brain. I ignore the itch.
Some days will tilt one way, other days will tilt another way! Simply tilt it back to balance point every time. STRIVE and pray for balance in every way, everyday.

It’s OK to pause

We focus so heavily on minimalism of the home; why don’t we start with our minds?
